NO immage protection

  • The author tells you that the Galleries can be password protected, but he does not tell that there is NO protection for the images. All images, also the images in the protected galleries are completle accessible for all users with conection to the internet.
    I hope nobody use this plugin for critically or sensitive client work.
    If you sell your images with this plugin, your clients can download all your images without bying them.
    Very bad, otherwise it seems to be a good plugin.

  • Any file you post to the internet is capable of being taken. Sunshine has basic image protection blocking users from right-clicking and saving or drag and drop, but anyone with a little knowledge could get around this. In our free version of Sunshine, the image you upload is the image that gets shown to the user. Any image shown to the user can easily be taken. It is not a limitation of Sunshine but just how the internet works.

    With our Digital Downloads add-on, there is higher level image security. We put server level rules which prevent direct access to the high resolution images and only those who have purchased could access.

    So while I understand where you are coming from, this is not an issue of Sunshine itself. As such, I ask you reconsider your rating.
