At the request of the client I recently installed your plugin. We didn’t see any problem until today (they’re making menu changes tomorrow and wanted to announce them on the front page). Unfortunately, there are no images from Insta. The overlays are there and the links, etc work without a hitch. I’ve deleted and regenerated the Insta and FB tokens twice. I’ve flushed the FTS cache multiple times. I’ve turned off server-side caching and plugins. Nothing helps.

Is there an IG problem today, or am I missing something?

    Hi @popvid,

No IG problems of note, but since FB took over the Instagram API(s), they do change things on a daily basis, so temporary glitches are not uncommon.

I would suggest starting by going into the Instagram account on desktop, then click the settings cog, go to Apps & Websites, and click to remove Feed Them Social.
Return to your WP dashboard, go to Feed Them > Instagram Options and reacquire a new access token. Then, go to Feed Them > Settings to generate a new shortcode. Once you update/publish the new shortcode, you may need to clear the FTS cache for the changes to take effect.

If that does not resolve the issue, please try the following:

    1) Please make sure you are running the latest version of Feed Them Social (currently 2.8.9)

    2) How are you adding the shortcode to the page? Are you using a page builder? If you are, are you using a text field to place the shortcode in?
Also, if you are using the Gutenberg editor and using blocks, it needs to be a shortcode block.

    3) After you update/publish the shortcode to the WordPress page, you may need to clear the FTS cache for the changes to take effect (Feed Them > Settings > Global Options > Clear All FTS Cache)

    4) Please make sure you are not running any Facebook blocking extensions in your browser (like FB Container in Firefox for example).

    5) Lastly, if you have done the above steps and are still having an issue, it’s possible that another plugin or theme is interfering.

Try deactivating all other plugins besides the Feed Them Social plugins temporarily. Then test to see if it works. If this works, try reactivating them, one by one, to see which one is causing the issue.

If deactivating all plugins doesn’t help the issue try switching themes to one of the default WordPress themes then look at the page (this can be done under the Appearance tab of your install). It’s possible the theme is causing errors.

Let me know how it goes.

    Hi @popvid,

Our developers have addressed the Instagram video images and popup issues in our latest update, just pushed. Please update your free version of the Feed Them Social plugin to version 2.9.0

Thank you all for alerting us to this issue, which had to do with an Instagram API update the other day.

Thanks for using SlickRemix plugins and stay safe!
