Something seems to have changed lately, but I’m not sure when – I only send emails from end of May to beginning of September.

In my New Post Notification emails, I use an Automatic Latest Content block with Full Post selected.

All my posts contain an image (at the start of the text as well as a featured image) but Mail Poet doesn’t include either image!

Only when I choose Excerpt do I see the image (not sure which one). I used to see the image with Full Post.

I really need to send the full post in my emails, and I really want to include the image!

Is it possible to do both a Full Post and include the image from either the post or the featured image?

    Thanks,

  • you can always manually add an image to the top of each post from available images in your library.

Thanks for the suggestion, but that doesn’t resolve the issue I described: New Post Notification emails with Automatic Latest Posts block.

    Hi @schultzter,

This is a bug and we’re already working on a fix for it. It will probably be on our next release.

    Thank you!

    Thanks,

    was this fixed?

This issue was fixed on version 3.7.8

Posts displayed as “Full post” now displays post images.

Please notice that Featured Images are only displayed when selecting “Excerpt” display option.

Is there way to still show image if selected Excerpt, like it was in v2, in short we finding this new v3 version having less options and templates are nothing special really compering to v2.
