Since the 3.6 update, all my Nextgen Galleries are broken (the site is https://www.petersommer.com/blog/).

Initially, galleries would still show, but fail to load when clicked on.

On noting this initially, I first tried updating the Nggallery plugin to the recently released new version. After I did that, the galleries did not even show up any more. Instead, each blog post containing a gallery showed the line “no images were found” where the gallery used to be.

I have now downgraded the plugin to the previous version, but still see the “no images were found” line instead of the galleries.

For a blog that uses imagery as a key focus, this is a disaster. Is there any suggestion as to how I can rectify this?

  • Wieder die Meldung: no images were found

    same problem here
    “no images were found”

    my site:
    https://sportverein.geras.at/

see for example the slideshow on top left -> no images found.
    same problem here: https://sportverein.geras.at/2013/04/fotos-vom-derby-gegen-drosendorf/

this happend after upgrading from 1.9 to the newest version 2.0.40
    I am running wordpress 3.8.1

I already tried to disable all plugins – without any success.

I am including the galleries with this code:
    [nggallery id=64]

but I do not think that the code is the problem. because also the widget “slidshow” is not finding any pictures.

    please help!
    thank you!!!

C’mon Photocrati! I see many bug fixed in the new release 2.0.58 but nothing about “no images were found” bug.

I’m forced to use the 1.9.3 version, because from 2.0, in most pages, my front single pic disappear and I found the annoying “no images were found”.

If I can help you with something, the error didn’t appear on this page:

    https://www.liviufratila.ro/prezentator-lansare/

but is allways present here (only in 2.0 +):

    https://www.liviufratila.ro/mc-entertainer-evenimente/

Weirdly, the shortcode is the same, but different ID:

    [singlepic id=22 w=320 h=240 float=center]

P.S. Now I see the key difference – the front picture is not excluded from gallery, in the first case, but is excluded in the second link. Now I’m sure, the exclusion of the picture leads to error “no image found”. Can’t be a big step up for the NG developers in order to solve the bug!

Ok, I can confirm – the bug is solved by uncheck the box “exclude” for the picture that you don’t see in your website, in every gallery that you use. Now, I update my plugin from 1.9.3 to 2.0.58 and I have no “no images were found” error.
