    I add the link for the album using the green button at the pages editor

    The only difference is the ANIMAL Album or LINK was added earlier on, and the rest are only this week

    I try reset the setting to default, but it causes my site to crash.. this is the web hosting support reply: –

    We have checked and found that there is an issue with the plugin “nextgen-gallery”. Below are the error logs:

    =================================
    [03-Jan-2015 08:37:56 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 48496640) (tried to allocate 7680 bytes) in /home/damienwo/public_html/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/attach_to_post/class.attach_controller.php on line 10
    =================================

    We have now renamed the folder “nextgen-gallery” to “nextgen-gallery_bak” and the site is accessible now. Please refer to the attached screen shot.

    @shiokguy – It was nice of your web host to provide an error message indicating the server environment does not have enough of a memory limit. I would recommend first going back to them to have the PHP Memory limit raised on the site to something along the lines of 128MB (preferably 256MB) and see if that helps to sort out the issue(s) you are seeing.

    Thanks!

    Thx for the feedback. I have reinstalled my WP and now going to install Nextgen again.

    I will be using very basic Gallery and Album display. I notice that my PHP version is only PHP Version : 5.3.29

    While the latest Nextgen needs 5.4.. The hosting company refused to offer free upgrade to 5.4 and want me to pay a large sum for the upgrade.. very typical scenario in Malaysia.

    Can nextgen work with PHP Version : 5.3.29?

    @shiokguy – NextGEN Gallery can be expected to work correctly with any site properly meeting the WordPress minimum requirements (which is a lower PHP version).
