No Images Showing

I am having the same issue with your username on my test setup. I will do some more testing this week and post back once I have found a solution.

It turns out this is caused by an inconsistency in username case. When entering a username of “CuriosityTrav” it will not work. Changing this to “curiositytrav” matches how Instagram stores usernames and works for me.

I have pushed an updated version of the plugin to GitHub which fixes this (https://github.com/cftp/wp-instagram-widget) in the meantime (until I push the fix to www.remarpro.com) please use a lowercase username.

I’m having the same issue as CuriousityTravels.

I’ve entered my instagram name (hydeecat) as all lower case and am still not seeing any images. Website: https://www.hydeecat.com.

I just downloaded the plugin today so not sure if that is the latest version or not. Please let me know if you have any thoughts. Thank you!

I just checked your site and it would appear your images are loading fine. It may have been a caching problem.

I do still need to push the very latest version of the code here but it is only a minor change.

Yes it worked! I got the impression that the images would pull through instantaneously but it just took a bit of time. Thank you for replying!

How long should it take for images to appear? Hours or days?

Please ensure you have entered your username in lowercase and your Instagram profile is publicly accessible. It should be fairly instant that your photos appear… however the result from Instagram is cached for 2 hours. So if they return nothing you may need to wait an additional two hours for your photos to appear.
