I have just tested with all plugins disabled, and still there is a problem with images.

There is no problem with images showing up in my media library on my test site running Hueman Theme. I am also able to insert it into my content.

When troubleshooting for a plugin conflict, you need to clear any cache plugin’s cache content and browser history. Please refer to the following troubleshooting guide.
