    Are your images somehow protected? E.g. basic auth to access your site or something like that?

    No, just the page was protected from public access but I tested it without that restriction as well. The SSL is through WordPress settings.

    I was having the same issue and found that it was a setting in iThemes Security. I had to disable the “Enable HackRepair.com’s blacklist feature” in iThemes Security settings.

    @peter can you please double check your plugins too? There might be other plugins especially security related ones that prevent the images to work correctly.

    @keygrip I also use this plugin and I confirm I had the option you mention enabled. I disabled it and the image problem solved ??

    Great that we identified the root cause outside of the plugin. Feel free to contact the “iThemes Security” developer to consider making his plugin compatible with wp-mpdf
