• Hi!

Since I have been updated wordpress to version 3.5 the plugin does not work anymore.

If a user will upload a picture within the admin panel a warning appears. Setting an image it will be shown to be cropped, but after sending it “no picture available” ist shown.

    To reproduce:

    – open backend panel of a user
    – Click on “update picture”
    – Within the dialog “Upload an Crop…” a warning appears.
    – choose an image
    – click upload
    – the warning appears also
    – click on crop image
    – “Sorry, No file available” appears
    – No picture was set.

With the previous version of wordpress the plugin was going well

    warning:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /homepages/23/d364210778/htdocs/SWTOR/wp-admin/includes/plugin.php on line 1290

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /homepages/23/d364210778/htdocs/SWTOR/wp-admin/includes/plugin.php on line 1290

Can you please fix this error?

  • Also, existing photos are not shown in Explorer, Chrome and Safari. They are visible in Firefox

I have the same issue, accept I don’t even see the option to upload a photo avatar anymore, I just see it in my wordpress panel, and when I try to change my admin avatar, or any other avatar I get the error message: “you are not allowed to do that”. Does this plugin even work with 3.5?

it would be great if the author of this plugin could adress this issue or create a fix so the plugin works with 3.5

hi guys, because apparently I have the same problem but, i have checked several wordpress(3.5) instalations and I only get this error in wordpress multisite, I wonder if this also happens to you.

At my side (veteres-unlimited.de) this side isn’t a multisite.
That some Avatars (existing ones like noordewier reports) would not be shown appears randomly, but no one can upload/change a avatar now.

Must report that my problem is solved. It coinsided with a disc quota problem.

    Same problem with WordPress 3.5.
The photo is uploaded but does not display.
    How to fix ?

    Okay…
My Provider had changed some settings so the automatic updates cannot be done anymore til I enter the FTP-dates (you know what I mean).
Today the Provider has changed the settings again, the update-downloads now can be done from the backend again and … wonder … the upload of the avatar pictures runs also.

    Good day!
Installed the plugin User Avatar (the most simple and clear), but does not replace autarky registered users. An error “Unable to process the image. Please try again.”
    Thanks in advance.
