No images after import!

  • So I followed all the instructions, and successfully imported my blog into WP on a Bluehost server. I just discovered, however, that all of my images were not imported. They are all there, but all the links are broken.

    Can anyone give me any advice on how to fix this, short of editing each post and re-inserting each image? Not my first choice, since I have images in nearly every post for the last two years.

  • You can use the Search and Replace plugin to mass replace the incorrect portion of all the image paths.

    OK. Tried S&R, all links got changed, but no images. I double-checked the links in a browser window and they work. I’m inclined to believe that this has something to do with the sql database and less to do with the links?

    In my image editor, it doesn’t pull up thumbnails, and acts as if it doesn’t know where the images are.

    Make sure your Miscellaneous settings have the upload folder path set correctly. Also, if you provide a link to your site someone might be able to take a look at it and get a better understanding as to the problem at hand.
