No images, 404 errors, etc
-
Ok so I’m trying to transfer over a site I created on my local machine to my host. Everything seemed fine until I went to install (on Bluehost). Database creation is fine, then at the end of the install it shows me as having one warning (no errors though). This is the warning:
WP-CONFIG WARNING: The wp-config.php has one or more of these values “WP_CONTENT_DIR, WP_CONTENT_URL, WPCACHEHOME, COOKIE_DOMAIN, WP_SITEURL, WP_HOME, WP_TEMP_DIR” which may cause issues please validate these values by opening the file.
I then try to resave the permalinks and the link wants to go to https://mydomain.com/wp-admin/options-permalink.php but actually goes to https://mydomain.commydomain.com/wordpress/wp-login.php?redirect_to…..
Not sure why it’s trying to put my domain twice in a row. When I try to ‘test entire site’ it loads the site but there are lots of broken images and there is no theme/css styling. I’ve tried searching and checked permissions, checked my wpconfig.php and erase my site url address and that gets rid of the double domain name but leads me to a 404 page. Not sure what is wrong but I’m going to have to place my original site back up until I figure it out because I can’t have the site down. Any help is appreciated but unfortunately I can’t provide a url.
