    Hello. We auto post on Facebook and LinkedIn with Publicize. On Facebook everything is fine. The defined post text and the features post image is used. But on LinkedIn there is no image posted and in the link preview the WP Bakery Shortcodes are visible.

    What is wrong?

    That’s normal, we don’t have a way to translate proprietary shortcodes, so all we can send out is the shortcode content.

    As for the image, I’m not seeing anything particularly wrong with that.

    Isn’t it possible, to show the excerpt text in the link preview instead of the normal post text with shortcodes?

    The reconnection of LinkedIn as described in the link has not solved the problem. No images are posted to the LinkedIn timeline. Any further ideas?

    At the moment, no.

    I’m generally not seeing anything wrong.

    LinkedIn pulls the image from the og:image tag (we don’t specifically send them anything), and that is working properly and the image is accessible. Not only that, but Facebook (which operates the same) is not having an issue.

    In this case, I recommend getting in touch with LinkedIn’s support.
