Hi! I was moving the images from the default folders (by year and month) to others personalized. Everything was working fine, but there are some pictures that I moved from the default to a new one that the image doesn’t show only the name. When checking the same pictures on the gallery, there’s just a grey box where they used to be. No name, no image. I cans see the image once I select Edit.
Is this because it was linked? they aren’t linked to any page on the website at the moment, and it didn’t happen with all of the pictures.

    Thanks

Maybe the move operation did not work as expected. Can you contact me at [email protected] and we can discuss the details of this issue.

    Alan,

I am having this exact same issue. Some of the Moves I did worked great, but there is one folder in particular that I am unable to move without messing up all the images. When I move the images back to their original folder, they start working again. I even tried creating another new folder to see if that helped.

Would love some help on this!

Links to images in posts and pages get updated with the new location when they are moved or renamed with Media Library Folders. If am image is somewhere else, in a widget, in the theme’s header or footer, it will not be updated but you can manually update it with the new location after moving.
