Downloaded from zip from Flaticon – shows package uploaded with Zero icons.
Trying to upload SVG from Flaticon – gives me error – Wrong File Format.
    Please advise.

    Regards,
    Kos

  • HI,

I have similar kind of issues. My hosting company has been trying to solve this. In their tests, if it shows 0 icons, they were able to fix this just by refreshing the page and / or regenerating css again. I haven’t had a change to try this yet but will if it occurs again.

My problem is that I have nothing after the importing. It doesn’t even show 0 icons.

it does show the number of Icons from Frontello after refreshing, but still no Icon in Elementor.
and Flaticon shoes 0 (zero) all the times.

OK. I’m sure you have hit the regenerate css button too… Let’s hope we’ll get some help for these issues : )

    Hey Kos,

First, this plugin only works with ZIP archives provided by Fontello, not Flaticon or SVG files.

Second, after uploading the font pack, it should show below the uploader. if you refresh the page, the icons will appear (have to refresh to get the font family css loaded to the browser).

If that’s still not working, can you check your FTP folder /wp-content/plugins/custom-icons-for-elementor/elementor_icons_files and tell me if anything is being saved in there?

Any console errors in your browser dev tools?

so why you have this as the FIRST Step for Icons upload?

    Create a new Icon Font
Visit Fontello and select the icons you would like to use. You can even upload custom SVG icons of your own, whether they be custom made or from a source like Flaticon!

If that’s still not working, can you check your FTP folder /wp-content/plugins/custom-icons-for-elementor/elementor_icons_files
/elementor_icons_files – no such Folder Exist at all…..

I agree, I will rewrite that sentence to be more clear. In the help video, it shows you how to add Flaticon icons to Fontello to create a webfont.

    Try this folder: /wp-content/uploads/elementor_icons_files/

ah.. ok followed Video exactly the way… I did not name the FONT on Fratello before download. That worked then….
But can we upload Custom SVG Icons?

So you have it working now?

    (@koswebsite)

it’s working with Frontello .zip file when naming the font before download.

Awesome, I’m glad you got that working.

Custom SVG files must be uploaded to Fontello first to be converted into a webfont.

I have a new problem. 2 days ago I uploaded some icons created from fontello and they work just fine. Today trying to upload some more but this happens.

    – Uploads fine
    – I refresh and I see the added icons below the upload section
    – It says the No of icons
    – I get no preview and no icons while it says the No
    – Tried “regenerate css”

I get this error Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in C:\xampp\htdocs\storm.gr\wp-content\plugins\custom-icons-for-elementor\includes\template.options.page.php on line 196

EDIT: Sorry I solved it. I was not giving a name at the webfont before the download. My bad… ??
