no icons are displayed

    You’ll have to use the developer console in your browser to see what CSS in your theme is overriding the CSS included in the plugin.

    I am using a Simple Theme by Nimbus…First and foremost, I am VERY NEW TO WP… I have uploaded Simple Social Icons to my wp-content/plugins/directory. Have activated “plugins” in WP menu. Then attempting to insert it into the widget area of my theme. The TEXT (Connect With Me) that I insert is showing up, but NO icons are showing… Having NO HTML experience, can someone assist??? Thanks in advance for any and all assistance….
