No hyphen between items and price

Hi, I have 2 problems with this using a custom woo commerce theme. but first the cart has no hyphen between the items and price.

It should read something like:

9 Items – $100.00

but instead it’s reading as:

9 Items$100.00

This is in the pro version.

Second issue is that the fly out menu starts off as open and no way to close it. Am I missing some styles for it?
