Maybe intent: In ‘Superscript Layout’ of the ‘Customize’-tab no &-HTML (like &) characters are accepted, although HTML tags can be used.

Hi @nikelaos,

We may use both HTML entities and literals except double quotes, that need to be escaped: \” (they will be so automatically). And as you point out, HTML tags.

E.g. this is all OK:

• &
• &
• <
• <
• <?strong?>

Did you have a hard time entering the characters that you wish to show around the footnote referrers?

Best regards.

No, I didn’T.

I’ve checked this again, all seems OK.

Maybe there was an typing-error… :-/ ??

Thanks!
