no html allowed for contact form 7

Contact Form 7 doesn’t allow us to add any HTML to the checkbox texts, unfortunately. We can’t do anything about it since we’re depending on the possibilities within these integrated plugins. All other integrated plugins do allow HTML. Sorry for the inconvenience.

You should add the link above the checkbox item, not inside its text. You are generating the code anyway to the form so just change the code you generate. HTML is allowed in Contact Form 7 outside the form items.

for everybody having this issue of not being able to add the url for the privacy page, once created the text in the contact form itself shows up a shortcode for wpgdprc plugin in the contact form 7 form tab:

<p>[wpgdprc “your text..blah blah…You can read my”] privacy policy
