• Hi, I am learning and am using the Twenty Eleven 1.2 theme. I may actually go with the final reult for a client but right now I am struggling with one of many issues. First is that I have turned header text turned off and I am suing my own image as the header. However, turning it off still leaves about a 2 to 3 pixel line across the top and it interferes with the image I am using in the header. That line maybe be a border or something. How can that be eliminated?

You can see the problem at https://www.bookeeze.com

    Thanks.

  • Do not edit the Twenty Eleven theme. It is the default WordPress theme and having access to an unedited version of the theme is vital when dealing with a range of site issues. Create a child theme for your changes.

Ok .. Gonna toss all out and reload all my changes eventually anyway. Thanks for the heads up.

    Any idea about the problem?

    Thanks.

Probably just CSS. Try using Firefox with the Firebug add-on for this kind of CSS work.

Thanks . tried in IE and same thing. I already have Web Developer. Canot seem to track down where the isues is. You think FireBug is so much better ti might help me find the problem?

Absolutely! The Web Dev Toolbar has lots of other useful bits but for tracking down CSS and experimenting on the fly, Firebug is a absolute godsend.
