No GDPR consent showing on website

    Sorry, but I’ve spent a couple of days trying everything but I can’t get the consent footer to show on the website.
    I have cleared cache a thousand times.
    I have the following in header.php and footer.php
    <?php wp_head(); ?>
    <?php wp_footer(); ?>

    In the page source I can see lots of lines related to cookie-law-info-bar just below </footer>.
    I can see it in Chrome lighthouse (but not sure how to work with that).

    The only thing I can think is that maybe Asset-Cleanup plugin in causing a conflict, but I’ve even disabled all plugins but can’t get anything working.

    Any ideas appreciated.

    Hi @headsdont,

    We checked the site and found that the javascript and CSS files of the plugin are not rendered. The same goes for all other plugins in the site.

    Please check if you have anything in your site that could cause this.

    When I disable Asset-Cleanup, I can see this in the source:
    wp-content/plugins/cookie-law-info/public/css/cookie-law-info-public.css?ver=1.9.3′

    However, there is no corresponding .js file, so presumably, it has something to do with the theme. It is the Acabado theme from Income School.

    If you could confirm that the theme is probably responsible, then I will take it up with them. They tend to get all defensive when anyone questions their theme.

    Just updating in case anyone stumbles upon this.

    I have to give a HUGE shout out to Mark @ Webtoffee who helped to identify the problem and fix it for me.
    Cookie-law-info is now running smoothly on my site. ??

    It was related to the Acabado theme from Income School not loading jQuery (except for some plugins).
