`No GA4 measurement ID found` implementing Google Optimize with Server Side GTM
-
Hi Tomi,
We are looking to use Google Optimize and just used the experimental integration feature in the plugin by entering the container ID. When we check the installation we are getting
No GA4 measurement ID found. The web page is not tagged with your Analytics measurement ID (G-XXXXXXXXX). You won't be able to measure your Optimize experiences using GA4
error (ss). We have that measurement ID on the website with this plugin’s GTM connection and a server side setup (data is flowing in to our GA4).We used to have the gtm configuration trigger at Window Loaded, to make sure it is not the cause we switched to all Page Views however the issue remains.
Could you please help guide whether a server side GTM setup can be used in combination with the plugin’s Google Optimize integration / how?
Tried to find some documentation around this but this old launch article does not touch upon server side setup.
Cheers,
