  • Hi simenschi, to use FTP you need to enable FTP under General >> Job Destination. But you can only achieve this after you have created a new job. If you don’t create a new job you will see this option.

Once you have enabled FTP you will see a new tab for you to enter the FTP settings.

    I hope this helps.

    Kind regards

Thanks, but I have created a new job, but there’s still no FTP-option on the job destination page. See screenshot bellow:

Hi, what version of the plugin are you running?

I am running 3.0.13 and I don’t get the same entries as you do in your image above. I don’t get Backup to Microsoft Azure (blob)….

Is your server running apache or windows?

I’m running 3.0.13 as well. According to the “information”-tab in BackWPup the server is running Linux and Apache.

Is it a PHP setting rejecting BackWPup to send by FTP maybe..?

Hi, it is worth a try to investigate your PHP settings, however it could also be a conflict with one of your plugins?

When running the site locally, with the exact same plugins, the FTP option appears. So it’s no doubt a server setting.

What kind of PHP technique do BackWPup use to send files via FTP? Maybe there a mod or something I have to activate in the server/domain control panel.
