I’ve updated to 1.8.12 but when I’m logged out from WP the frame around the pics disappear and only the first picture is visible (no slideshow). I just got back to the version 1.8.11 but the problem remains, then to version 1.8.8…but no way.
    Please can you help me?

    Hi

Can you please create a test page with a gallery that is showing the problem?
I looked at your site and saw a few galleries but those seem to be displaying correctly

    Hi! Thanks for your reply.
    Please, check with this gallery:

This is a screenshot of what I see after WP logout (it’s the same on mobile, the only difference is that on mobile the picture is very small):

    Thank you!

    Hi

thanks for setting up the test page. I think you are talking about the lightbox and the fact that there is no white frame around the image once you click the thumb.

This is not part of FooGallery, and is rather part of our other plugin FooBox.

Looking at your page though, Elementor lightbox is taking over from FooBox lightbox. You need to find a way to disable the Elementor lightbox

    Hi bradvin,

yes that is what I meant.
Ok, I’ll try to disable it.

    Thank you very much!

    Sorry bradvin,
I disabled Elementor lightbox but nothing changed, in addition now I can’t even see the “x” to close the window (when full screen) ??

Hi – now there is no lightbox loading. Do you have FooBox plugin installed and activated?

    Thread Starter daphy

    (@daphy)

Yes I have it, and on Galleries – Generals, Foobox is choose as Lightbox option.

    (@bradvin)

But FooBox is not included on the page. There is no FooBox script or stylesheet. And the FooBox init code is not in the page, which means FooBox is not activated

    Thread Starter daphy

    (@daphy)

    Strange…this is a screenshot showing it’s activated:

    Am I missing something?

Another strange thing is that when I’m logged-in in WP everything’s showing fine…

What caching plugins are you using?

If it works for you when you are logged in, then that usually means your site is caching all assets for visitors (and does not cache when you are logged in)

    Try purging all caches

    Thread Starter daphy

    (@daphy)

I have WP Super Cache…ok I try it.
    Thanks

    Thread Starter daphy

    (@daphy)

Ok I have deleted cache and noticed that in WPSC settings is recommended to check “Disable caching for logged in visitors”, so I activated it…however the problem is still there.

    (@daphy)

Sorry…there’s one more thing I didn’t paid attention: when I click on the gallery, the picture that is supposed to popup is not popping up, it appears form it’s url:https://ibb.co/G3N7MvN

    Hi @daphy,

I’ve just tried to visit your test page again and it appears to be disabled.

If you are seeing the full image when clicking on a gallery thumbnail rather than the image in FooBox lightbox that tends to suggest that either FooBox is not activated or that some other code in your site is interfering with FooBox and preventing it from executing.

Caching plugins are the #1 cause of issues like this. Would you please review your WPSC cache settings – particularly around javascript minimisation? Try unsetting all javascript minimisation options and see if the issue is resolved. If so, you can then start enabling the javascript caching settings one at a time to isolate the options that may need additional tweaking to work well with FoOBox.

Please let me know how you get on.

    Thanks.
