• Okay, so I’m new to all this so forgive my ignorance. I’ve got it all running, or so I thought. Being that I’m just toying with this for now, it’s running on a spare machine in my house at the moment. When I try to view my site locally (https://127.0.0.1) it works fine, but when I view it from another computer the site looses all formating, and is nothing but text (no images or anything).

    Any help would be appreciated.

  • What else do you expect?
Practically that address means “localhost” and every machine “thinks” of itself as localhost ?? -> looking for the stylesheet on its own hardware… but of course, cannot find.
You can either see it locally or on the net.

Okay, well thanks for that lovely bit of insight, as that’s the conclusion I had come to. Now can you help me out as to how I can make this work over the net? I don’t mind hosting this on my local machine given the small ammount of traffic it will recieve. I just want it to work. I guess I should add, that I’ve used a dns service (no-ip.org) to resolve the host name for my page.

admin > Options > General: change the two URI values to whatever that address/host name is ??
