No formated text display

    Hi All,

    Wordpress and all plugins 100% up to date.

    Context : These are all plugins used;

    Oxygen Builder
    Advanced Custom Fields Pro
    Custom Post Type UI
    FacetWP

    In Oxygen Edit Mode we can format as usual but when displaying the Web site, the text is in block, continuous form (no numbered list, no bold, no italic…).

    Is it everything under the “Biographie” heading that is losing formatting?

    Without being able to see how your template/theme files are outputting things, it’s really hard for me to say what is causing this. That said, my first guess would be that something like the_excerpt() is being used instead of the full the_content() which would or at least should be outputting all formatting.

    I’d check with your theme developer, if that’s not yourself, or the support team for the theme if it’s a premium one, to see what can be done.

    Hi Michael,

    Yes, this is for all the text under the Biography heading.

    Just to let you know that I am using the “Wysiwyg Editor” which is part of “Custom ACF Content” in my Oxygen template but there seem to be a a conflict with CPT UI which is stripping all tags from the editor.

    Please let me know if you have any more suggestions.

    The thing is that we intentionally do not influence any part of the display of content or handling of content. I have to believe there’s some aspect of that “WYSIWYG Editor” field and the “Custom ACF Content” detail that is pulling the intended text content from the database and stripping out the markup. I don’t have any experience with the Oxygen theme, so I can’t say much beyond that.

    Hi Michael,

    I have ask ACF to look into this problem (I gave them full access to the site) and they are the one informing me that there seem to be a a conflict with CPT UI which is stripping all tags from the editor.

    I do not know if the conflict is with ACF or whit Oxygen Builder (no a theme, it is a builder plugin) but let me know if you wish to make a in-dept analysis and I will give you access to my site.

    If ACF support are saying that it’s not them, then my bets are moving towards Oxygen Builder, since that’s the other component that you’re putting content in, or doing the querying. That said though, I would be willing to take a look in general.
