• I keep getting this error when I try and set a focus keyword for pages and then click on page analysis: “No focus keyword was set for this page. If you do not set a focus keyword, no score can be calculated.”

It works fine for blog posts, but not pages. I searched around and people seem to say clicking “update” after typing the focus keyword will fix this. I’ve tried this without, but it hasn’t worked.

  • I’m having the exact same issue. I’m using the latest version of SEO Yoast 1.5.3.3
Every time I fill in the focus keyword, title and description, I can find no way to save it. If I hit the ‘update’ button, it deletes everything I’ve filled in. If I don’t hit the ‘update’ button (assuming the plug-in may have an auto-save feature), but I go to the ‘page analysis’ tab, it says I have no focus keyword but doesn’t delete the data (but once I hit the update button the data will become deleted). If I hit the SEO check button, it doesn’t delete the data, but tells my I have no focus keyword (and once I hit the update button, my data then deletes).

Anyone know how to solve this?
