juhu I can see the flags, but now getting warnig:

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/…../wp-content/plugins/ztranslate/ztranslate_core.php:915) in /home/../wp-content/plugins/ztranslate/ztranslate_core.php on line 141.

I use zTranslate in combination with Advanced Custom fields plugin and it seems they are not compatible. I cannot normally post content it two languages. Or wp doesn’t remember what I submitted, or merges both language variants in one language. I just can’t use zTranslate like i could qTranslate.

    Using WP 4.0.

Hoping new update will be compatible with ACF.

    Thanks for the flags though.

zTranslate also killed the Contact Form 7 plugin, it doesn’t send messages any more. I will have to disable the zTranslate.

    Correction!

Carret your solution killed Contact Form 7 plugin, at least in my case.

Sorry to hear that, I’ve tested in WP4 and contact form7 and it works for me.

Hi, I found an easiest way to have flags displayed in edit mode when WordPress is not installed in the root.
You need to change the flag link (in plugin preferences) as follows:
    ../YourDirectory/wp-content/plugins/ztranslate/flags/
    I explain it better:
in the field of the flag link do not overwrite what is there, simply add “../” (two dots and one slash), to instruct to go in the root, then type the directory where your WordPress installation is, followed by another slash.
    That’s all.
