    HI there,
I just downloaed the widget and activated it.
However I can not see any “fixed widget button” under any of the widgets.
I am using WordPress 5.4.2 and Enfold 4.7.6.1.
    PHP version: 7.3.20

    Can you please assist?

    Thank you!

    Hi Samvas

I’m sorry, I don’t know this WordPress theme and as long as it is not free, I’m not able to test it quickly.

For now, I couldn’t find the Fixed Widget to be installed on your website. So maybe you uninstalled it in the meantime (did you?) or it does not work properly in your case.

If you don’t see the Fixed Widget checkbox below your widget boxes via Appearance – Widgets, I suppose that our plugin does not work. So maybe the interface is manipulated by your theme or another plugin.

Another approach to make one element of your website to be fixed would be to define a custom ID (of the HTML element on your website you wish to be fixed) via Appearance – Fixed Widget Options – Custom IDs. To get the ID, please look at the source code and find the ID (e.g. <div id="name134" class="name789">...</div> – here it would be name123) of the specified element.
    Did this work?

    Kind regards, Odilo

    Hi there,
I find it very confusing and cannot figure out how to find the id name and tried different solutions without “floating” or fixed widgets.
I am doing everything as a hobby anyway.

    Thank you.

    Hi all,
I found the fixed widget button.
I do not know if it appeared after the update.
    I got now WordPress 5.5.1 & Enfold 4.7.6.4.

Just have to play a bit around now.

    Thank you!
