No finding images

    I am pulling a feed from https://www.startlandnews.com/ to create posts using the Feed to Post addon. I am not getting the featured images. Smaller images (not the featured) are referenced in the feed but the featured images are only seen if you visit the single post page.

    My understanding was that the force full content option would grab the featured image. Is there something I need to do to make importing this site work?

    I took a look at the link and used the Full Text RSS Feeds Demo to verify that the full-content doesn’t pull in the featured image from posts on https://www.startlandnews.com/. On this site the image is outside entry-content, so I can see how it might fool your algorithm.

    I am fairly handy with action hooks and filters. Is there a way that I can adjust your algorithm to find images in this case?

    Hi Luke,

    Our full text plugin is designed to extract images only from the content area of the original post. As of now, it is not possible to change this logic. But we will consider this feature in some future releases.
