Do you have a caching plugin installed?

with 2.8.3 version no problems ??

That has nothing to do with File Away. File Away does not set permissions for server directories. It may seem like a coincidence to you, but File Away could not possibly be causing that permissions notice.

ok how is working showto=”editor, subscriber” ? i think here is problem, it is not working. with old version everything ok, after upgrade if user has subscriber he get permission error, if has admin role, all is working.

I need to see what you have configured. showto=”editor, subscriber” is working just fine for me. It shows the files to editors and subscribers, and hides them from everyone else (including administrators). Editors and subscribers can download files just fine. Something is up with your site.

I don’t mean to be pushy, I’m just saying, if you want me to solve this issue for you, I can’t do it blindly.

Does your Base URL setting on the Basic Configuration tab have more than one option in it?

how to privately send to you login details?

I have exactly the same issue. Identical.

I disabled WP caching but have server side memcache and opcache also.

Never an issue with previous versions. 2.8.3 is brilliant.

EDIT – this stopped working for absolutely all code by the way. Even if i just put [fileaway] with no attributes (which usually just displays a list)

Will somebody provide me access so I can figure out what’s going on?

It’s obviously an issue with something about your particular setups, since File Away 3.1 is working fine for hundreds of users.

Have you tried enabling WP_DEBUG in your wp-config.php to see if you get any errors?

I’m here to help and would like to get this resolved in as timely a manner as your schedules allow.

What version of PHP is installed on your server? What errors are you getting when you have WP_DEBUG set to true?
