    Hi,

I have installed and connected the plugin as per instructions you have provided on supported documentation and I have successfully connected. The plugin works and connecting to my G. Drive library. However, when I’m trying to add photos, and the pop up opens where I’m expecting to select the file, there are only directory available but no files/photos displayed inside these folders. I can swap between any folder, but cant see any files. Photos are definitely there, but plugin just not showing any.

    See screenshots as an example.

Please can you confirm what might be wrong?

    Thanks

    Hi,
that’s the intended behaviour – photos aren’t shown on backend for efficiency, but when you add a gallery, they’ll be there on the frontend…

    Hi,

When you saying “when you add a gallery, they’ll be there on the frontend…“ you mean all photos from the selected folder will be loaded into the frontend? If yes, how about the single file/photo from this folder? If I have a folder with 55 photos and obviously I just need 1 or 2 specific form this folder, how I should select these from this folder if I have nos single file selector??? Also on plugins directory page in WordPress, I cans clearly see screenshots where it show that some files can be selected inside the Google Drive folder.

Hope above make seance and you can help me, as I still expect that the plugin will work in this way. The bullet point is how to make the single file selection from the folder where multiple files stored?

    Thanks

Are you able to confirm above? If this plugin works in the way as you have mentioned (when you add a gallery, they’ll be there on the frontend…), so it makes no sense, because why I need to load a full gallery into the post line, when I need to add just one picture….

    Hi,
yes, if you add a folder, all the photos will be displayed. You can’t select specific files. If you want to add singular hand-picked images to your articles, I think you’d be better off using regular WordPress media. (We would like to implement importing specific images into WP media from Google Drive, but it’s not implemented yet).

Understood. That answer made things clear.

    Thanks.
