No files/images after installing plugin

  • Everything on my site worked on. Installed plugin – suddenly none of the images/videos and other files on my site started loading. None of my icons appear.

    De-activated and deleted the plugin, but problem still exists. Would like my site back.

    Looks like the plugin re-named all my images with the extensions “webp”. Now I have to manually change all these files back to their original formats.

    That’s the issue

    So I’m an idiot for not realizing that those webp’s were already there for the most part – but the problem remains, and it seems like I’m not alone (lots of others are having an identical problem.)

    I restored my site from a backup (via cPanel) and I’m still having problems with files not loading and the WP library is all sorts of weird
