Before I updated to 2.0.54 I was able to edit and save the Custom Fields on the Profile.

I have both predefined and Custom fields on a Custom Profile Form. None of these fields are showing when I go into edit mode on the Profile.

I upgraded the database without any errors.

    Thanks

I cycled through everything, resetting all the checkboxes. it eventually started working again.

I’ve been poking at stuff for a while and mine still hasn’t come back. We’ve lost our registration system until I figure this out, any other ideas?

I went to the Profile section under settings and enabled and disabled and enable the Profile Menu, saved and it came back.

This was after I rebuilt forms and tried and it failed. So I guess this is like a soft reset.

    I don’t see a “Profile” section under settings….

OK, found it. Ultimate Member > Settings > Appearance > Profile Menu

The “Enable Profile Menu” had become unchecked in my case, just checking it fixed it all.

Thanks, @mokana and @justdave! This was super helpful and probably saved me at least a good hour of poking around in settings and pulling my hair because of the same issue.

Thanks – wow same problem here. Ultimate member – please correct this. I would have never guessed that this is the problem without a lot of trial and error. thanks @justdave @mokana

Fantastic! I have been struggling with this for more than a week! Thanks alot @mokana and @justdave

also . . . clear the cache under settings . . . for a related issue I found the solution is to disable caching under Settings . . . poof . . . no more of these mismatch issues between the core data and array cached in wp_options table . . . all metadata is stored in wp_usermeta and the wp_options cached data is a flash of that . . . disabling UM caching blows this layer out . . .
