    I desactivated all plugins.
I switched to the Twenty Twelve theme.
    Still no ‘Featured Image’..

I did downgrade the plugin to versions 1.3.0. and 1.2.2., just to see, but it didn’t work either.

I checked the jquery in the page code, and everything that’s needed is there.

No more ideas… Thanks for helping!

    Hi BastienBz,

Thanks for using my plugin and I apologize for the trouble you’re having. By default the featured image box is on the right side beneath the “Portfolio Setting” box. You’ve done all the troubleshooting steps I’d suggest — disable all plugins and switch themes. The only other thing I can think of is that maybe the box is hidden. When you’re adding a new portfolio item, at the top right corner of the page click “Screen Options” and see if “Featured Image” is listed. If it is but it’s not checked off, check it off.

Oh, and there are no compatibility issues with WordPress 3.8.1 so definitely use the latest version of WP

    Thanks for the answer, John.
In the “Screen Options”, “Featured Image” is not listed..
I’m working on a local server (xampp v3.2.1), could that be a problem?

I’m completely stumped. I suppose xampp could be a problem but I have no idea why it would be… I use WAMP without issue on my computer and I assume they’re relatively similar.

I’m sorry, there has never been any problem (except with me).
The menu has always been there, just the translation is so bad in french i thought it was something else…
That is absolutely silly.. let’s say i didn’t get enough sleep last night.
Thanks for your time (and for your great plugin, again)
