    When I chose to Use custom HTML markup on the Widget, the Excerpt dissapears.
    The rests of the options, like title, thumbnail, date, etc.. they all show. Is just the excerpt.

    I don’t even have to change the default options on the custom html fields.
    For some reason, checking that options makes the excerpt dissapear on the output.

    Is this a known issue? a feature?
    Any help?

    Hi there!

    This is a known “issue”: the default HTML markup doesn’t include the {summary} content tag. The reason? Since the excerpt feature is also disabled by default, it didn’t make any sense to add this content tag to the default HTML markup.

    TLDR;

    Just add the {summary} content tag somewhere inside the Post HTML Markup field and you’re good to go!
