No Events showing

  • I am trying to find the issue for no events loading on my page. It was working well in last year or so, I think it might be some settings of Facebook API, but I am able to locate the correct place to debug it. Can somebody help? Thanks!

    I second this bug report. At first the images stopped working for a couple of weeks, but now the widget reports that there are no events. This app worked fine for a couple of years. The site is https://k2jji.org

    Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help correct this issue.

    I have the same problem. Plugin worked great for ages, but in last few days events have stopped showing. Is there any chance of a fix? This was a great plugin.

    It may be this is due to changes Facebook is making, see this post. Hopefully they implement their changes quickly

    Deprecated:
    Endpoints that return data including /feed, /posts, /comments, and the RSVP list.
    Let’s hope there will some easy way in future…

    it says its for new developers. so if you created fb app earlier it should work?

    I have it for more than year and it stopped working… So it definitely affects every app. Or yours is working?

    i actually dont use it for a long time. i kept updating it and tetsing on a demo website but the demo website is currently down.

    Events are working again. Images are not showing. Believe they changed how images are processed. Cheers!

    Can anyone else verify its working again – mine are still down and not working.

    @sas313 – Yeah still working over here. I recently renewed extended access token, so maybe that. However, images are still not coming through. Believe this has to do with update from WordPress 6 months ago that Roi never updated for.

    Thanks @seektruth for checking on that for me. Im still not getting events, “There are no events”, although there are events on the FB events page. So I must have something set wrong or my access token is now bad.

    @roidayan Can you tell me where exactly the information inside the plugin is where it retrieves the image from facebook? I would really like to fix this if I could. When I inspect my website, it shows <img src="/"> so all the event cover images are broken. It is not getting the url of the image from facebook. css is configured correctly, it’s just not receiving the url.
