• Hello,
everything works. There is only one problem: the feed file does not contain any episodes. I have reinstalled again – without success.

    https://norberthaering.de/feed/mp3

The database query works because the playlist works in the player. The problem must somehow lie in the creation of the feed file (enclosure-tag). Unfortunately I’m just a layman.

    WP, Podlove: current version
    Server: mysql5.6, PHP7.2

Does anyone have a hint? Thanks for a help!

    updated link to one episode:
    https://norberthaering.de/news/ubi-audio/

I installed Seriously Simple Podcasting briefly on a trial basis. This plugin creates a complete xml-file of feed with item-tags for all episodes. At podlove there are no item-tags: https://norberthaering.de/feed/mp3

Do you have any other plugins installed that may affect the RSS feed? Cache plugins?

Otherwise I have not heard of that issue before. If the episode is setup correctly and published (which it appears to be from what I can see), it appears in the feed.

Thanks for the answer! I also think that there is a special configuration problem for my installation, because I have not found anything comparable on the web.

However, I don’t use a cache plugin. And there is only the wp blog RSS feed:
    https://norberthaering.de/feed/rss

As far as I can tell, SSR-Plugin creates a new category ‘Podcast’ for the episodes and probably than uses the normal wp feed function and the item-tags are picked up. Whether podlove is doing something else under …feed/mp3, I don’t know no as a layman… ??

The cause is a conflict between plugin polylang and podlove. If polylang is deactivated, the podlove feed file is complete with all item-tags.
(Sorry, I could have checked that earlier. But I didn’t think that a language plugin could interfere with a feed.)

If Podlove-feed have problems when polylang works – but not SSR, than something has to be changed at podlove?

The website is bilingual. Without polylang the site doesn’t work. What can I do now?

    Hi,
I have the same problem, the feed file does not contain any episodes and I used polylang. Did you find the solution?
I realy not know what to do.

    Thank you in advance!

    No solution.
I use Seriously Simple Podcasting now.

Unfortunately there is not yet the playlist function for recently episodes. But it should be in work. At the moment I offer it on an extra page with the wp-player.
    [podcast_playlist order=”DESC”]
But I must update this page after I have published a new episode.
