No email when new comment is placed

  • Hi there,

    When I get a new comment to one of my posts, it’s not emailed to my mail adress.
    I’ve tried checking my comment setting, they’re okay (receive comments is enabled)
    I’ve checked my spam folder
    I’ve checked with WP Mail SMTP plugin, everything seems ok as I am receiving the test email
    Also with WP Mail SMTP plugin I checked if my email settings are set to php, and it seems to be the case

    Anyone has any other solutions for this problem?

    Dumb question? Have you activate it?

    Check out in Settings → Discussion page:
    E-mail me whenever:
    – Anyone posts a comment <– is this activated?
    – A comment is held for moderation

    Remember that the email will be recieved by post author.

    Also, check in Users if the Post Author email is ok.
