    Hi,

First, I love the ease of this plug in! It is easily versatile! But I am having some issues.

I am in the process of migrating an old website, that is a little clunky, into wordpress. My employer is very insistent that it looks exactly the same. I copied and pasted the original table into the HTML code editor section to generate how the form would look. I used the submit button you provide, I thought I set up the Admin and User email’s correctly, but I don’t think it is working. Once I hit submit it goes to the Thank you page, but I never receive a confirmation email or an email to my admin account.

I am not sure if this is an important note or not, but my website is not live yet, I am building it locally using MAMP.

    Thank you!

On Windows-based systems there is no possibility to send emails directly with php. You’ll need to setup WordPress to send E-Mails via SMTP. The easiest way is to use Postman SMTP. There you can configure any regular email account for email submission.

If you copy the HTML of your original form, including the input fields, PlanSo Forms will not detect them as fields – so this can be an issue as well. The look and feel of the form can be set to your old form however using CSS.

    Hi,

I am using a Mac. Will I need to set up the SMTP still?

I also rebuilt the form only using your fields. Still nothing happened.

does it matter if I am using a localhost like MAMP?

    Thank you!

Yes, both WAMP and MAMP benefit from an SMTP plugin.
