No Email Sent Out

I install the Subscribe Plugin into WordPress and it shows up fine in the Sidebar, looks great and when I enter a Name and Email it tells me it is processing and then proceeds a message that a confirmation email will be sent out. I never receive any of these emails – I tried several different email accounts with no luck. It does add me as a “Subscriber” in WP which is great but I would like them to get an email confirmation and updates as well. This probably has been asked before…any help or ideas is appreciated.
