no email notification as admin and abo comments

  • Hello, I use GD Mail queue as SMTP Plugin and have used the same email adress in StCR.

    When I post as a admin a comment and I have a ABO I do net get any mail.

    Dont I get email because I am the admin?

    Sorry, I’m not sure I understand, what do you mean by “ABO”?

    ABO = Subscribe to comments , sorry.

    I have checked mails again and when I post and subscribe to a comment as a userI get emails. But when I post and subscribe to emails as the admin I do not get any emails. So I think it’s working as it is.
    Pls close tis topic.

    Do you have the “Let Admin Subscribe” option set to “Yes” (in WP admin > StCR > Options)?

    By default as an admin you won’t see the option to subscribe when you’re leaving a comment. You only see a link to manage the subscribers for that post.

    If you enable that option you will see the checkbox (or dropdown) that allows you to subscribe when leaving a comment.
