    Have you read the readme.txt? Always recommended when using software, especially for new users, fwiw. There you will discover that uploaded images are attached to the submitted post as Custom Fields and also added to the WP Media Library. To display images in posts, you can use any relevant template tag (there are many). Again, read the documentation for more infos.

    For the email, you will need to troubleshoot, check for errors etc. There are numerous factors involved, so it is difficult to guess at what may be the issue. I recommend the following plugin to test for basic functionality:
