No Edit Page/Site Link

Hi,
I’ve taken over completing a website for a charity and don’t have contact with the person who did the initial design. The site has integrated The Events Calendar on a page that has a bunch of latin placeholder text. I’m not able to remove that text because the “Edit Page” button doesn’t appear.
On this page it says: Click Edit Site in the admin bar (if you don’t see Edit Site in the admin bar, then your theme doesn’t support the Site Editor)
But it doesn’t give any solution or workaround if it’s not there. So what do I do? How can I edit this page? I checked the wp source directories and the content isn’t there, so it’s not hard coded.
Edit Page appears for every other page on the site and I can edit them. The events page doesn’t appear in the list of pages in WP Admin. So what is it and where can I edit it?
Where can I go to make these modifications?
