No E-Mail being sent

  • I, I would like to test your plugin, so I installed it on my staging site. It uses the Streamtube template.

    Unfortunately, the plugin does not send e-mails. I proceeded as follows.

    1. activated “Video” under Settings
    2. set up a new notification so that an e-mail is sent when a new video is posted
    3. i have specified User Role and then “Authors”, as i first want to test whether the mail arrives at all.
    4. i have defined 2 test users with my e-mail address as “Author”.
    5. i have posted a new video – no e-mail is sent.

    I have looked at the documentation and activated debugging – no error messages appear there after the test

    I have installed WP MAIL SMTP and set up SMTP – the test mail is successfully delivered to me.

    What else can I do? Can you help?

    Hello @kareswebdesign,

    Did you set up you Recipients as Type=Role and Recipient=Author (singular)?
    Did you try to add single email recipient for test purposes as well?

    What are all the other settings in your notification, can you send a screenshot of it?
