    Hey guys,

i don‘t receive any E-Mails with the daily backup after the last Update.
    Is this issue already known?

    Best regards.

    Hi,

Does the log file say that one was sent? (Look towards the end). If it does, then that means that it went to your web hosting provider’s email server; and you’ll need to ask them what happened to it after that.

    Hi,

the backup is done but i dont get any email.

I have 4 websites with your plugin.
3 of them i updated -> no more emails after backup
1 of them i didnt updated -> still email after backup

The websites are all on the same provider.
Further i changed the admin email to an gmx adress -> still no email

Other emails – for example – from the contact form i receive..

last part of the log data (of the website with the issue):

    0000.956 (0) PHP event: code E_NOTICE: Undefined index: instance_settings (line 428, wp-content/plugins/updraftplus/backup.php)
0000.956 (0) PHP event: code E_WARNING: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() (line 428, wp-content/plugins/updraftplus/backup.php)

    0000.957 (0) Resume backup (de65d634c4cf, 0): finish run
    0000.958 (0) Decremented the semaphore (d) by 1
    0000.959 (0) Semaphore (d) unlocked
0000.959 (0) There were no errors in the uploads, so the ‘resume’ event (1) is being unscheduled
0000.961 (0) The backup apparently succeeded and is now complete
0000.961 (0) No email will/can be sent – the user has not configured an email address.

    BUT this part:

0000.961 (0) No email will/can be sent – the user has not configured an email address.

is on the website where it still works, too.

I have the same problem as jodamade: since the last update of 11/28 I don’t get the back-up by email. I do get the success message by email, so I don’t think the email address is the problem.

I also tried to back-up manually, but with the same result.

Hope anyone can solve this problem, thanks! ??

PS I see the topic is marked as ‘Resolved’, but as far as I can see it isn’t for the topic author (maybe you can change it, @jodamade?)

    *EDIT*
This is the last part of the log file:

Look in the right sidebar, there is a drop down. The plugin author/contributor can resolve topics in their forum but so can you. It’s your topic after all.

NOTE! This plugin doesn’t have anything to do with email delivery. ??

Try installing and configuring this plugin. It takes care of most email issues once you’ve configured it for a service such as GMail.
