    Hi. I’ve seen this issue in so many posts across the web, but still no proper solution.
    IMHO there should be a template feature for a variable product that hides select and replace it with static text (option value) if there is only one variation available.

    I know we can set default, but this is like an extra hassle for each product. You’ve mentioned conditional forms plugins but is this the only way you can come up with? Should it be just default behavior, that doesn’t rely on any condition but a number of options available?

    You can either see if your request has been posted already and upvote it, or post your new proposal. Good luck with that.

    If you don’t want to wait, you’ll need to make a custom template for:
    woocommerce/templates/single-product/add-to-cart/variable.php
    edit the original and put your customised copy in your child theme. PHP skills will be needed.
