No dropdown for some taxonomies

    With identical options apart from the taxonomy choice, I get a dropdown for product_cat but not for category. The same is true for product_tag (yes dropdown) and post_tag (no dropdown). Why am I seeing dropdowns for the product taxonomies and not the post taxonomies?

    Unfortunately, the dropdown option doesn’t work for the core taxonomies. The core categories widget has its own option for this; ideally there would be a core equivalent for tags.
