There is an option to show or hide portfolio gallery in General Settings tab under Portfolio Settings. The option titled as “Display Portfolio Gallery”, make sure that you set this as On. Otherwise, there is no reason for not displaying the gallery. You can ask for a help, but giving bad review without any proper reason is a bad practice.
The person has opened his account two years ago, and all these days without giving bad reviews in four plugins he did nothing! Just look at his reviews, totally pointless! Logically, it is a valid review, but we all know that it is not valid! Actually, in this point the author of the plugin is totally helpless!
Please don’t get personal. The reviews are here to receive feedback on your plugin. If someone had a 1 star experience then this is why we have 1 star ratings. Do your best to try to help the person and try not to focus on the star rating.
Obviously, I’m here to help others and I would be very happy to do that. But, the person didn’t ask for any support! He didn’t even mention the problem clearly, just telling “no displayed galley”! Just 4 hours ago he again gave a bad rating in another person’s plugin! At least, he could ask for a support first. There is a support system for every plugin. If a person asks for a support first, only then we can try our best to help that person. Thanks for your advice. I will keep that on mind not to focus on the star rating.
@moviehour, I am going to have to ask you to stop tagging valid reviews for moderation. If you want more clarification then please let us know, because we want to avoid a situation where the modlook tag is being abused.
Just show me one plugin which doesn’t need help and CSS editing! Then, I would request to WordPress to remove the support forum system! The website world is now 100% perfect! We don’t need the support system anymore!!
There are thousands of themes out there, and the style of each theme is individual. No one can’t give guaranty that his plugin’s CSS will not conflict with the theme’s CSS. It happens cause sometimes theme’s CSS take precedence before the plugin CSS. There are thousand of website. It is not possible for a plugin to match perfectly with all the websites out there. If you have developed more than 30 plugins, then you would understand.
