Can I see the screenshot of the widget page(widgets.php) in the admin area?

    What I’m suspecting is that:
    – you are adding the widget to the wrong sidebar.
    – you have not selected a Fetch Tweets rule in the widget form.
    – your sidebar has a custom condition set to display some widgets with certain criteria.

You may also try with a default WordPress theme just only to see if it works normally with a different theme.

I’ve adjusted to use static Homepage and Sidebar and tested in other Themes but still no joy.

Here is a screenshot of the Admin sidebar <a href="https://www/retireenews.com.au/images/RN_Tweet_AdminSidebar.jpg">HTTP://www.retireenews.com.au/images/RN_Tweet_AdminSidebar.JPG</a>

    Appreciate the help.

Sorry… messed up the link code to the screenshot ??

So you have an extra form element besides the plugin’s, looking like setting a condition for the widget visibility.

Isn’t that the reason that the widget is not displaying?

I’ve removed the Search Form and left just Tweets and still no display. I’ve checked that there aren’t any Visibility settings on the Tweet Widgetin the SideBar.

    Nothing about the Search Form.

You have an embedded form element with the text Show if: -- Select -- is delete:add at the bottom of the widget form that does not belong to the Fetch Tweets widget form.

I had Widget Visibility activated in Jetpack. Deactivated it (which removed form elements in Widget control) – still not displaying Tweets

It could be a caching plugin. If you are using one, renew the cache of the page that displays the Fetch Tweets widget. Temporarily deactivating it may help.

Using WP Super Cache but it set to off whilst sorting site so no cache active. I could set you up as an admin so you can log in to check the settings if easier. Let me know.

    Wait, I found the problem.

Can you set the height to 100%, not 0px?

Although the description says set 0 for no limit, it seems it sets 0 min-height which caused the problem, I think.

Yep, that fixed it. Now displaying.

Now for a very silly question…

I just want to fetch my twitter feed (I’m following) for @retireenewsqld as per your example – not the tweets sent from this account but can’t see how a rule can achieve this.

Tried to add a rule by list for my screen name ‘Retiree News’ but comes up no list found?

Do you mean the home timeline of yours?

[Edit] To create a rule by list, just type your screen name.

Yes, per my home page on Twitter.

Did that but comes up with ‘No list found.’
