No data with Tag Manager & Ajax only results

Hi,

I have seen others with this problem but the solutions you have given of editing the plugin code do not match the current version. Could I ask you for a workaround for those using AWS v2.24 and with the option of Ajax only search results selected?

I have looked at a pure Google Tag Manager solution which listens for Ajax form submits, but the search terms are not exposed, so it’s not much use in this context.

A thought: would it be easier for users for a future version to have an input for the Google Analytics ID number rather than trying to read it (which I guess the use of Tag Manager makes impossible)?
